JOB SUMMARY

The EVP, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides executive leadership and oversight for accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury and cash management, financing and deal structuring, risk management, governance, internal audit, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), pricing and analytics, and relationships with banks, investors, and rating agencies, as well as other corporate functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Lead and oversee the Corporate Finance organization, including general accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury and cash management, corporate finance, FP&A, pricing and analytics, risk management, and internal audit
• Set strategic objectives for the function and partner with business leaders to align priorities across the enterprise
• Advise the CEO and Senior Leadership Team by providing insight into company performance, key drivers, and trade-offs underlying strategic decisions
• Lead recurring and ad hoc financial and accounting analyses to inform financing strategy, core business performance, new products, M&A opportunities, and risk-based scenarios
• Prepare, review, and present quarterly materials for the Board and Audit Committee, including results analysis, valuation updates, forecasts, and funding requirements.
• Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, representing corporate finance and risk
• Partner with Tokyo Century and the ACG Board to communicate objectives, strategy, and results, and cascade strategic decisions across the Corporate Finance organization
• Attract, develop, and mentor talent across the Finance organization; identify and develop emerging leaders
• Drive clear, frequent communications to strengthen business acumen and alignment with strategy
• Lead continuous improvement and automation efforts to increase efficiency and scalability while maintaining a strong control environment
• Lead relationships with rating agencies, banking partners, investors, OEMs, and other external stakeholders
• Represent the company at events and conferences to support strategic objectives and business development
• Craft and deliver clear, consistent messaging on behalf of the company
• Champion clear, consistent communication of financial strategy and performance, both internally and externally
• Execute additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as required

• Provides strategic financial leadership and decision support for the company and direction to teams across Corporate Finance
• Manages multiple priorities and resources across internal teams and external partners
• Identifies and resolves complex and ambiguous financial, risk, and governance issues by applying strong industry knowledge and deep expertise
• Coaches and develops direct reports and builds an inclusive, high-performing environment that promotes learning and accountability
• Collaborates with other department leaders to design effective, efficient solutions that support enterprise-wide goals
• Communicates objectives, strategy, performance, and key messages in a clear, engaging, and easily understood manner

KEY RELATIONSHIPS & LEADERSHIP

• CEO - Partners closely with the CEO to set financial strategy and department objectives; serves as a key advisor on performance, capital strategy, and risk
• Tokyo Century and the ACG Board - Maintains regular communication with senior leaders to align on strategy, performance, capital plans, and key initiatives
• Corporate Finance leadership (e.g., Treasurer, Controller, Risk, Internal Audit, FP&A/Pricing & Analytics) - Leads and supports department heads and their teams; aligns functional objectives with the company's strategic priorities
• Rating agencies - Leads engagement with rating agencies to communicate strategy and results and support the company's investment-grade credit profile
• Banks, investors, manufacturers, and other external partners - Builds trusted relationships and ensures clear communication of goals and plans to enable mutually beneficial transactions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; master's degree preferred (MBA preferred)
• 20+ years of corporate finance experience, including 10+ years of people leadership with increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions with incomplete or ambiguous information
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop a team of direct reports with varied levels of experience
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the core elements of running a successful business, including finance, governance, and business administration
• Ability to distill complex issues to their essence while operating in a fast-paced environment and maintaining strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

ENVIRONMENT

This role is an in-office position and requires regular on-site presence to support collaboration and business needs. Travel required - about 30-40%, works indoors 95-100%, 85-90% of day is spent sitting or standing at desk, 10-15% walking to other office areas.
