Located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, the International Crane Foundation (ICF) is a global leader in the conservation of cranes and the ecosystems, watersheds, and flyways they depend on. With a mission that spans across continents, ICF works through science, education, and partnerships to ensure the survival of these majestic birds. ICF is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Events Specialist to bring our mission to life by planning and executing events that increase public awareness, strengthen donor relationships, and generate critical philanthropic support. The Events Specialist is part of the External Affairs team and ensures that every event-whether in person or virtual-reflects ICF's values, brand, and commitment to excellence. This role will also work closely with many other departments and volunteers.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, generous paid time off, and additional perks designed to support work-life balance and well-being. This is a full-time, salaried position with a range of $52,000-$56,000. It is based at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI and provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity of 2-3 days at home during the week.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings expertise in event strategy, logistics, and relationship management. You will recruit and manage volunteers and staff, coordinate branded displays and outreach materials for festivals and conservation events across the U.S., and maintain inventories of signage, banners, and promotional materials. This position also leads post-event opportunities and ROI and donor engagement, identifies new speaking and outreach opportunities, and manages Speaker's Bureau logistics. In partnership with cross-functional teams, you will support donor stewardship efforts, oversee event communications, and ensure staff attending external events have the resources needed for successful brand engagement.
