Why We Need Your Talents

An Event Sales Manager serving Live! Casino & Hotel is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.  Event Sales Manager will develop a Sales plan that maximizes revenue by driving the sales of Food and Beverage Private Events in bar and restaurant venues within Live! Casino & Hotel complex.  As Event Sales Manager, you will work with the Sales and F&B Departments to maximize revenue opportunities through the sales of Private Events in our outlets on the Casino Floor.

Responsibilities:

Where You'll Make an Impact

  • Interact with internal team members, clients, owners and suppliers to promote Private Events in Live! Bar and Restaurants.
  • Communicate with target customers and manage guests’ relationships
  • Build and execute the selling strategy of the Live! Private Dining Program to meet revenue expectations.
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure Live! stays competitive in the local market.
  • Build and maintain database for private events in Live! Outlets.
  • Book, plan and manage private events and corporate functions of 20 people or more.
  • Work with the General Managers and Director of Marketing on strategies and initiatives that drive sales.
  • Send follow ups and confirmation emails to guests. 
  • Submit weekly sales sheets reports.

  • Possess an outgoing personality with the ability to engage in conversations with prospective clients.
  • Excellent prospecting capabilities.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication and are known for translating data into clear, easy-to-understand information useful for stakeholders and clients. 
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently, as well as strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, meetings, etc.
  • May require a valid Driver’s License and drive to workshops, tradeshows, conventions, meetings, etc. 
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Experience in restaurant or food/beverage outlets required.  Additional experience in hospitality or complex food/beverage outlets preferred.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends and business demands.

A Few Must Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
