Overview:
Bring events to life! Join our team at the Melton Student Center and Student Activities Center, where you'll assist with dynamic event set-ups, seamless breakdowns, and cutting-edge audio-visual support.
Responsibilities:
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment needed for various customer events, including tables, chairs, staging, and podiums
- Assist building staff with cleaning spaces before and after events
- Assist with audio-visual set-up including data projectors, microphones, and speakers for events in the Student Center
- Understand how to read basic diagrams and room set-up sheets and be able to set-up spaces according to those diagrams
- Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings
- Arrive promptly for shifts, dressed in provided uniforms, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic team attitude

Enrolled student at Auburn University
Expectations:
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
• An outgoing person willing to engage with customer population
• Applicants must be available to work weekdays and weekends, including mornings and evenings
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (25lbs or greater)
• Previous event operations experience
• Knowledge of large audio-visual systems
• Possess some working knowledge of audio-visual equipment
Pay Range:
USD $10.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr.
