Here''s what you''ll do during a typical day:
- Drive group sales: Respond to incoming inquiries and secure sales for meetings and group accommodations of 10-50 rooms, including meeting space, food & beverage, and ancillary services
- Generate new leads: Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through outbound efforts, proposal writing, and tailored sales strategies
- Promote the property: Conduct engaging site inspections and hotel tours, highlighting key spaces and services that align with client needs
- Negotiate and close contracts: Use discretion and authority to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients and vendors
- Manage client relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact from contract to event execution, coordinating group details including room blocks, F&B, billing, performance clauses, and affiliate revenue opportunities
- Manage event documentation: Prepare and distribute key documents-including group resumes, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), post-event reports, and pick-up reports-to internal stakeholders and clients to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the planning process
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with Operations, Catering, and Revenue teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service
