Responsibilities
- Perform daily administrative tasks including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors, providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist with coordination and support of sports leagues, events, camps, and facility rentals by managing registrations and communications.
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems to ensure efficient information retrieval and data accuracy.
- Support the finance department with invoicing, processing payments, and tracking expenses related to programs and services.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and ensure organizational goals are met.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required to assist management and support operational activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the sports or recreation industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact positively with a diverse community of patrons, staff, and partners.
