Wholesale Distribution Company seeks Event Coordinator.

Overview:
Coordinate meetings and events that are held daily in 10 different conference rooms. The
position requires a computer savvy professional interested in the hospitality industry, who
also has strong problem solving and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage conference room calendar in Outlook
* Acknowledge meeting requests
* Track reservation responses and follow-up
* Plan for meeting room setting up time requirements
* Ensure space requirements are met
* Work with team for furniture reconfiguration
* Assist with food and beverage station setup
* Reshuffle meetings/events due to space limitations
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Manage and track all related equipment for room reconfigurations
* Ability to solve problems in a hectic environment
* Strong organizational skills
* Assist the mailroom/facilities team with other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
* Hospitality experience preferred, but not required

Physical Demands
* Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending,
reaching, standing, squatting and stooping
* Required to physically move 6-foot tables, as well as chairs and other furniture
* Will require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
