Position Overview
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in event coordination, operations, or project support. The Event Assistant will help with the planning, setup, and execution of company events while supporting the operations team in day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination
- Support attendee registration and guest services
- Coordinate logistics with vendors and venue staff
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
- Assist with scheduling and event preparation activities
- Provide administrative support to the events team
- Ensure a positive experience for attendees and clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs when necessary
- Previous customer service or event experience is a plus but not required
