US Cafe, a local fast casual establishment in Smyrna, GA, is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations during designated shifts and ensure that our guests receive outstanding service. As a Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to supervise team members, resolve guest complaints, delegate tasks, handle cash, and report any issues to the manager.

Compensation:

• Starting $12/hour base pay + Average $3-$5/hour tips

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a shift leader or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Confident problem-solver
• Team player
• Must be 18+ for this role

Responsibilities:

• Supervising employees and assigning duties
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently
• Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management
• Managing employee requests and transgressions
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards
• Coaching team members and training new staff
• Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake, and preparing cash deposits
• Handling customer issues and employee disputes
• Expediting orders to guests and controlling the flow of orders as necessary
