Introduction

This role is for a strong hands-on senior developer with a focus on ETL and PL/SQL. The candidate will be expected to independently drive development activities while also demonstrating leadership and collaboration across teams. The position requires a balance of technical expertise and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Powercenter for ETL development.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and database design.
  • Experience in developing complex ETL workflows and data mapping from various data sources.
  • Strong Unix scripting skills and proficiency with Unix commands.
  • Experience with performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with MuleSoft tools and integration.
  • Knowledge of source control repositories like SVN/BitBucket.
  • Familiarity with continuous build integration tools such as IBM UBuild, Jenkins, IBM UDeploy, or Ansible.
  • Previous experience working on data warehouse projects.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with distributed teams.
  • Prior work experience in the banking industry or similar client environments.

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica Powercenter.
  • Create data mappings to ingest data from various sources including flat files, RDMS, Hive, or REST APIs.
  • Develop Unix scripts and perform unit testing.
  • Interact and coordinate with distributed teams to ensure successful delivery execution.
  • Provide regular task status updates to management.
