Job Description:
Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Role Overview
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The technician will troubleshoot hardware and process failures, perform preventive maintenance, and use diagnostic software to ensure optimal tool performance. This role requires interaction with multiple disciplines in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: An Associate's Degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline is required. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing is required. This must include experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Technical Skills: The ability to read and interpret schematics and complex diagrams is necessary. Proficiency with SPC charts and Fault Detection software is expected.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated compensation for this position is between $68,000.00 and $85,000.00 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
