JOB TITLE: ESY Summer School Spec. Ed. Aide

LOCATION: Taylor County Schools

TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE: Director of Special Education/Summer School Coordinator

RATE OF PAY: Daily Rate per actual days worked (NO MAKEUPS)

SELECTION:

• The position is filled by the Board of Education on recommendation of the superintendent
• Employment will be contingent upon sufficient enrollment to justify the program as determined by the superintendent.

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 6 â July 31, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must be or have been classified in the category, or must pass the state prescribed exam for such positions.
• Aide is required to have restraint training
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
