The Estimator prepares cost estimates for special parts or products to support pricing.
Must interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and layouts, with strong knowledge of design, manufacturing, and processes involving welding, automation, or robotics.
Responsibilities include estimating labor hours across various disciplines, calculating construction costs, and assessing project changes.
Works closely with project teams to develop proposals, budgets, and presentations, while soliciting quotations and defining scope for support equipment.
Maintains familiarity with industry suppliers, safety regulations, and quality systems, contributing to continuous improvement.
