Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Project Estimation & Bidding
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine project scope.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Submit complete bid proposals to clients and provide clarifications as needed.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage awarded projects from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate with construction managers, field teams, and subcontractors.
- Establish project objectives, schedules, and performance standards.
- Monitor subcontractor work and overall project progress.
Client Interaction & Support
- Provide professional support to clients, including planning, design, and pricing assistance.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, agencies, and community stakeholders.
Documentation & Financial Oversight
- Maintain detailed documentation of project estimates and completed work.
- Partner with contract administrators to manage billing, payments, and collections.
- Track project costs and support forecasting for future performance.
Operations & Problem Solving
- Support construction/operations teams for efficient project execution.
- Troubleshoot issues related to materials, equipment, and project performance.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, and safety regulations.
- Promote a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong project management and estimation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Attention to detail and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of project management experience.
- Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HCSS software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
