Description
The Precon Managerwill be responsible for:
- Lead preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through final proposal submission
- Develop accurate cost estimates and project budgets
- Collaborate with operations, design teams, subcontractors, and ownership groups
- Participate in client meetings and project presentations
- Support business development initiatives and help secure new project opportunities
- Evaluate project risks, constructability concerns, and value engineering options
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
- Assist in developing pursuit strategies for targeted projects
- Manage multiple preconstruction assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Profile
The successful Precon Managerwill have the following experience:
- 5-10 years of preconstruction, estimating, or construction management experience
- Proven ability to support project pursuits and help win new business
- Experience presenting to clients and participating in stakeholder meetings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Background working on commercial construction projects
- Ability to develop budgets, estimates, and conceptual pricing
- Proficient with industry-standard estimating and preconstruction tools
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Job Offer
