The role involves

  • preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quantity takeoffs for commercial projects
  • reviewing drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • developing conceptual and design development estimates
  • supporting value engineering and constructability reviews during preconstruction
  • collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth project transitions
  • maintaining organized documentation for cost data

Ideal candidates will have proven estimating experience in commercial construction, strong understanding of cost management, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. They should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office preferred. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
