Location: King of Prussia, PA
Industry: General Contractor (Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Life Sciences)
Compensation: $90,000 to $115,000 + bonus potential + excellent benefits

Overview

A well-established general contractor in the King of Prussia area is looking to add an Estimator to the team. This company has a strong backlog of work across healthcare, education, commercial, and life sciences projects, including both new construction and renovation work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Assist with bid leveling and scope comparisons
• Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams
• Support value engineering efforts and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and historical cost data

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, education, or similar projects preferred
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
