Estimator - Jacksonville

Key responsibilities include reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents; preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates; soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing; developing competitive bid packages and proposals; identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities; analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs; maintaining estimating databases and historical cost information; collaborating with project managers and operations teams during preconstruction; attending pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed; assisting with budgeting, conceptual estimates, and change order pricing; and building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors. The successful applicant will have 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction, experience estimating interior renovations, tenant improvements, and build-out projects, a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scope reviews, proficiency with takeoff and estimating software, knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and pricing, excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
