As a Permanent Estimator for Healthcare Construction, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic, ambitious, and innovative construction team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about the healthcare industry and wants to make a significant impact on the construction of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. You will be a part of a team responsible for the estimation and costing of various healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and time constraints.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive, detailed project estimates for healthcare construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related costs.
2. Utilize Destini estimating software to create accurate and reliable cost estimates.
3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
4. Review and evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.
5. Prepare and present detailed reports and cost breakdowns to stakeholders, including project managers and clients.
6. Continuously monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date estimates.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide insights and recommendations based on your estimation expertise.
8. Work closely with the project management team during the construction phase to manage costs and mitigate potential financial risks.
9. Contribute to the development and improvement of estimation and cost management processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Estimator, specifically in the Healthcare Construction industry.
2. Proficiency in Destini or similar estimating software is a must.
3. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with an attention to detail.
5. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices and terms.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and devise solutions promptly.
11. A proactive and collaborative team player, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
12. Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards related to construction is a plus.
