Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Construction Manager/Civil Engineer based in Durham, NC. The role involves overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Day-to-day tasks include managing budgets, schedules, and resources, supervising construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project documentation. The individual will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage teams on-site.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and Project Control to ensure financial and scheduling targets are met.
  • In-depth knowledge of Construction processes and best practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Thorough understanding of Construction Safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with teams and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in asphalt paving/grading projects is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies for project management and design.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Project Estimating software and Job Cost software experience is a plus
