Estimator - Civil ConstructionThe Estimator - Civil Construction will:Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including quantities, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to assess scope and risk.Perform quantity take-offs for earthwork, utilities, paving, concrete, drainage, and related civil work.Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids for subcontractors and suppliers.Develop project budgets and assist with value engineering initiatives.Identify potential cost risks and opportunities during the bid process.Maintain historical cost data and track market trends and pricing fluctuations.Collaborate with project managers during project handoff to ensure estimate accuracy.Support change order pricing and post-bid reviews when required.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.General knowledge of Building and Construction codes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
