Responsibilities:

2. Prepare comprehensive and accurate project estimates and bids.
3. Utilize estimation software, including Bluebeam and Crows Nest, to create detailed and precise estimates.

5. Present bids to clients in a professional and persuasive manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
6. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project estimates are accurate and feasible.
7. Continually monitor industry trends and market conditions to ensure that our estimation processes and strategies are up-to-date and effective.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that we have access to the best materials and services at the best prices.
9. Provide leadership and guidance to junior estimators, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in architectural millwork or related custom-manufacturing estimating.
  • Track record on $1MM–$5MM projects, including bid volume and win rate.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Bluebeam and one estimating platform, plus ability to learn Crows Nest quickly.
  • Experience presenting bids to owners, GC’s, architects, or construction managers.
  • Experience coaching, reviewing, or scheduling Estimators.
  • Ability to build and maintain cost libraries, alternates, exclusions, clarifications, and risk registers.
  • Comfort with production/fabrication coordination so estimates align with shop realities.
  • Clear responsibility for bid/no-bid decisions and proposal strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Estimating Manager to join a dynamic and innovative team. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
