This entry-level position is part of the Estimating Team & performs administrative duties & the control of documents in support of the Estimating Department.

Essential Duties:

  • Set up new and maintain electronic estimating files & maintain data (i.e., Plans, Specs, Bid Forms, Addenda, RFI's, Bid Date Changes, etc.).
  • Compile & update pending, sold & lost bid lists for sales reports & database entries.
  • Correspond with Customers & vendors.
  • Maintain the Invitation to Bid (ITB) Log & the "Jobs to Bid" schedule.
  • Provide CES bid intentions to general contractors in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare proposals and notify Estimators so they can review/verify counts, inclusions, and exclusions.
  • PDF the proposal/all other documents required and send them out to the prospective GC's.
  • Prepare & maintain electronic pre-qualifications for all General Contractors/Clients.
  • Maintain Estimating calendar for meetings, walkthroughs, staff vacations, etc.
  • Other duties & special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Modern office practices, procedures, & equipment
  • Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook & basic computer operations
  • Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, & vocabulary
  • Oral & written communication skills.
