Our prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Estate Planning Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, with a focus on estate planning. This role involves providing expert legal advice and assistance to our clients in relation to estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, power of attorney, and other related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ethical and legal responsibilities in this field and will be able to provide the highest level of service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive estate planning services to our clients, including drafting and reviewing wills, setting up trusts, and advising on power of attorney and other related matters.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of clients' assets and financial situations to ensure optimal estate planning strategies are implemented.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the firm to ensure a seamless service to clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in estate planning laws and regulations, and update clients' estate plans as necessary.
  • Represent clients in probate court if necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client seminars, to build the firm's estate planning practice.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning law, with a focus on probate.
  • Current license to practice law in the state.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state estate planning laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in estate planning law.
