Title: Legal Administrative Assistant (Estate Group)
Type: Permanent 
Location: Boston (Onsite 4 days, one day home)
Compensation: $43.00 per hour will convert up to $100K

Job Summary:
Legal admin supporting the Estates group. 

  • This professional will work closely with the firm's attorneys and clients. This professional will need to manage multitasking and complex document production.
  • Heavy administrative functions, client contact, and will require a high degree of executive secretarial and technical skills.
  • Our Legal Assistants support two to three attorneys or other legal personnel as a primary assignment and provide back-up support to other legal personnel as requested.
  • The right candidate will demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions with clients, co-workers, and third-party affiliates. The position maintains strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and four plus years of progressive legal secretarial experience, preferably in Trust and Estate, Private Client, or Family Office. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Also, Adobe Acrobat. Experience with 3E and NetDocs will be a plus! 
  • Notary public certification preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, including file maintenance and billing preparation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy.
  • Efficiently follow written and verbal instructions. Maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of attorneys, clients, staff, and outside contacts with discretion and strict confidentiality.
  • This professional will need to be a team player and able to communicate with professionals at all levels, with outstanding follow-through skills.
