Our expanding law firm is looking for an experienced estate planning attorney. We require a highly analytical applicant with excellent negotiation and organizational abilities who is available to work full time. You will prepare documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney as our estate planning attorney. This role carries a great deal of responsibility and seeks to eliminate questions regarding how an estate should be managed. Our ideal candidate will have extensive estate planning knowledge, be a qualified attorney, and have excellent written communication abilities. Responsibilities:- Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
- Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action
- Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options
Qualifications:- Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
- Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
- Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
