ESS Test Technician (On-site)

We are seeking an ESS Test Technician to support environmental testing of electronic components, assemblies, and subassemblies. This role is responsible for setting up and operating environmental test equipment, conducting vibration and thermal testing, collecting test data, and supporting engineering and production teams in qualification and reliability testing activities.

• Set up and operate environmental test equipment, including vibration systems and thermal cycling chambers
• Perform Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and other environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies
• Monitor and control test parameters using thermocouples, data loggers, accelerometers, vibration controls, and other instrumentation
• Conduct testing in accordance with engineering procedures, work instructions, and established test methods
• Collect, process, and compile test data and quality documentation
• Maintain accurate test records and logbooks
• Support engineering and production teams with troubleshooting and test activities
• Utilize electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, and automated test systems
• Follow all safety and quality requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience supporting environmental testing of electronic products
• Experience with vibration testing systems such as Unholtz-Dickie or similar equipment
• Experience with thermal cycling and environmental chambers, including Thermotron systems
• Ability to read and follow engineering procedures and test instructions
• Basic computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
