ESS Test Tech, 3rd shift, (On-site)

Looking for a role where you’re not just watching production but actually testing and validating it under real-world conditions? This position puts you at the center of environmental testing, working with vibration systems, thermal chambers, and advanced instrumentation.

You’ll support Engineering and Production teams by setting up and running environmental stress tests on electronic components and subassemblies. This includes working with temperature cycling, vibration testing, and a variety of measurement equipment to ensure product reliability.

• Perform operational testing on complex electronic components and subassemblies
• Set up and operate vibration systems and thermal cycling equipment
• Conduct environmental tests involving temperature, vibration, pressure, and airflow
• Use instrumentation such as thermocouples, data loggers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers
• Follow engineering procedures and standard test methods to execute tests
• Compile detailed data packages, including quality and defect tracking
• Maintain accurate test logs and documentation
• Assist senior technicians with more complex testing as needed

Schedule
Training period: Monday–Thursday, 4x10 schedule
After certification: Friday–Sunday, 3x12 schedule (typically 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Unholtz-Dickie or similar vibration systems (Engineering Qualification support)
• Experience with vibration profile development
• Experience using Thermotron temperature chambers
• Strong understanding of electronic test equipment and instrumentation
• Basic computer skills (MS Windows environment)
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• High School diploma or equivalent

• RF testing experience
