    Description

    NOV Artificial Lift is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to support our field service team. This role is responsible for completing daily field operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will lead by example, provide technical guidance, and ensure optimal equipment performance in the field.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational training preferred
    • 2 years of field service experience in ESP systems, artificial lift is preferred
    • Prior training is preferred
    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work independently in remote field locations under varying conditions
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
    • Perform field service activities, including installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment
    • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
    • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure proper system installation and commissioning
    • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while on-site
    • Complete paperwork in a timely manner
