Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating customized professional development programs and activities for ESL/HSE staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Two (2) years of experience in effective management and implementation of adult education staff professional development, including knowledge of digital training platforms, relevant training programs, reporting, and compliance.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of andragogy and methodologies that engage adult learners

Training Design & Technology: Familiarity with instructional design methods and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Organizational Practices: Working knowledge of human resources development strategies, performance metrics, and industry best practices.

Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and clear presentation delivery.

Interpersonal & Facilitation: Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and various staff.

Project Management: Strong organizational abilities to coordinate multiple events and juggle competing deadlines.

Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously update training curricula, orientation programs, and specialized workshops.

Needs Assessment: Survey staff and analyze performance data to identify knowledge gaps and determine specific training requirements.

Facilitation & Delivery: Conduct engaging instructor-led sessions, webinars, and virtual training; coordinate external speakers and vendors.

Administration & Compliance: Manage training budgets, oversee Learning Management Systems (LMS), and track employee attendance and certification metrics.

Evaluation: Administer feedback surveys to measure training effectiveness and adjust course materials to improve future outcomes.
