JOB SUMMARY Our Escrow Officer is one who has a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience. H/She understands escrow standards, title clearance, real estate regulations and guidelines, and document preparation. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Timely and professionally communications with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers
- Act as backup support for Jr. Escrow Officer
- Prepare picky documents for files
- Become proficient in closing software program (SoftPro, FTE Connect)
- Preparing settlement statements, closing disclosures, and lender packages
- Assist in obtaining seller’s authorizations, payoffs, etc.
- Assist in obtaining documentation for title curative
- Coordinate with customers and clients for closing date and time
- Submit documentation for loans requiring funding approval
- Balancing each file and preparing for disbursement
- Post closing functions including but not limited to, policy preparing and delivery, package return to lender or to branch services
- Possess the ability to consistently close a minimum of 40 files per month
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1-3 years of industry related experience. EDUCATION A high school diploma is required. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE No certifications, licenses, or insurance are required. KNOWLEDGE An in depth understanding of real estate title and settlement process.
