About the Role

We are seeking an experienced closer with REO (Real Estate Owned) experience to manage the closing process for bank-owned properties. The ideal candidate has a strong background in title and escrow, understands the complexities of REO transactions, and can efficiently coordinate with lenders, asset managers, and buyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review closing documents for REO transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate with banks, asset managers, title companies, and real estate agents to facilitate timely closings
  • Clear title issues, resolve liens, and ensure all required documentation is complete
  • Manage escrow accounts, process disbursements, and verify funding details
  • Communicate closing requirements to all parties involved and provide updates on transaction status
  • Ensure all closing conditions, including HUD-1/CD reviews, are met before finalizing transactions
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and lender regulations specific to REO properties
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in closing, title processing, or escrow, with a focus on REO transactions
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, foreclosure processes, and lender requirements
  • Experience with title and escrow software such as SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, or Qualia
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple transactions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
