Job Summary
Provide primary coordination between field personnel, customers, and service center. Schedule manpower and equipment to maximize productivity. Position is mentally demanding, requiring coordination of many activities at once. Provide assistance to manager as directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide primary coordination between field personnel, customers, and service center. • Develop daily schedules for all field personnel. • Coordinate with field personnel to obtain required test equipment for job. • Review simple reports (i.e., ground fault, ground resistance) for completeness of data sheets, etc. prior to supervisor's review. • Provide technical direction to clients and field personnel. • Respond to customer administration and service requests, quote jobs within limits of authority. • Direct Shop Technician's daily activities. • Maintain equipment asset list and tool check-out system. • Work with Manager and field engineers to develop weekly invoicing and monthly status reports. • Train technicians to perform basic testing procedures.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Education and/or Experience: Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and eight years of field engineer or related experience. • Education & Certifications: Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) and no experience; OR Graduate of electrical technical school or equivalent, and five years of similar work; OR High school diploma or equivalent and eight years of similar work. • Requirements: Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, some overnight travel to cover sales territory. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear. Required to sit and work at computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Conduct walk-through of construction sites and work in and around electrical equipment. Valid Driver's License required.
