Position Summary

The ERP Systems Analyst (Vista Viewpoint) is an IT-focused role responsible for the support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company’s Vista by Viewpoint ERP system. This position plays a critical role in system implementation, troubleshooting, and process enhancement across accounting and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Vista experience, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.

This is a fully in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of Vista by Viewpoint ERP.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between IT, accounting, and operations teams for system-related needs.
• Analyze current business processes and recommend system-driven improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party applications.
• Develop, maintain, and improve system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of ERP systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity across modules.
• Support reporting needs by leveraging Vista capabilities and improving data accessibility.
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new system features and updates.
• Assist with data migration, reconciliation, and validation during implementations or upgrades.
• Collaborate on IT and ERP-related projects to support business growth and scalability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience with Vista by Viewpoint ERP system.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve ERP/system-related issues.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, data structures, and system workflows.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations and post-go-live optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Effective organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in ERP systems analysis, IT systems support, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required.
• Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
