Overview

Client is seeking an SAP Manufacturing Functional Analyst to support enterprise applications used by Manufacturing Production Operations. This role will analyze business processes, design and configure SAP ERP solutions, perform gap analysis, and support integrations between SAP ERP, Teamcenter PLM, and Apriso MES.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyze Manufacturing Production Operations business processes and identify opportunities for process and system improvement.
  • Design and configure SAP ERP solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Perform gap analysis and system re-engineering of SAP processes and activities.
  • Support SAP implementation phases, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, operational readiness, and production support.
  • Write functional requirements and functional specifications for enhancements, conversions, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Support integrations between SAP ERP, Teamcenter PLM, and Apriso MES.
  • Partner with ABAP developers to design and standardize customized functional solutions.
  • Develop test plans and perform unit and integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and verify that developed solutions meet functional requirements.
  • Create system documentation, training materials, and training scripts using SAP methodologies.
  • Train and support the end-user community.
  • Facilitate data-driven decisions supporting operational business needs.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Prior Lockheed Martin Aeronautics experience.
  • SAP ERP functional experience supporting Manufacturing Production Operations.
  • Experience authoring functional specifications based on customer requirements.
  • Experience working with ABAP developers on customized SAP functional solutions.
  • Understanding of SAP ERP integration with PLM and MES systems.
  • Experience with SAP master data, including:
    • Material Masters
    • Work Centers
    • Manufacturing Bills of Material
    • Task Lists, including Routings, Reference Operation Sets, and General Maintenance Task Lists
    • Change Masters
  • Experience with SAP order data, including:
    • Production Orders
    • Refurbishment Orders
    • Network Orders
  • Experience with SAP order functionality, including:
    • Order release
    • Order splits
    • Order confirmations
    • Order scraps
    • Order cancellations
    • Order date revisions
    • Line rejects
    • Part number rolls
    • Major component swaps
  • Experience with SAP system design, development, configuration, testing, implementation readiness, and production support.
  • Ability to apply functional, project management, and application support knowledge to operational business needs.
