    Pulse Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where every shift makes a difference.     • Shift: Nights
    • Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
    • On-Call: None

    What You'll Do

    • Rapidly assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of emergency conditions.
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document vital signs, medical history, and clinical findings.
    • Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and injections safely and accurately.
    • Deliver exceptional emergency and critical care while prioritizing multiple high-acuity patients.
    • Perform and assist with emergency procedures, including trauma care, conscious sedation, suturing, spinal taps, and other life-saving interventions.
    • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly to emergencies.
    • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.
    • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions.
    • Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
    • Serve as a strong patient advocate while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development to remain current with emergency nursing best practices.
