Overview:
Participates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (or equivalent clinical pharmacy experience) is required.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Licensure/Certification
- Licensed and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Compensation/Benefits
$50.13 -$81.87/hr. depending on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $3.00/hr.Night differential $3.50/hr.
- Weekend differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential)
