Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Business Service Coordinator (BSC) to support workforce development initiatives by connecting job seekers with local employers. You will serve as a key liaison between businesses and candidates, driving job placements, strengthening employer relationships, and promoting workforce services across the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify hiring needs
- Proactively generate job opportunities through outreach, networking, and business engagement
- Match qualified candidates to open positions and support successful placements
- Partner with employers on recruiting strategies, interviewing, and hiring processes
- Coordinate and host job fairs, hiring events, and employer presentations
- Conduct follow-ups with employers to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Track and report on job placements, employer activity, and market trends
- Promote workforce programs and services within the community
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client employment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience in:
- Business-to-business sales
- Staffing or recruiting
- Marketing or customer service
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or staffing industry experience
- Knowledge of local labor market trends and community resources
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities
