Title: Equipment & Tool Engineer 3
Location: Everett, WA
Salary Range: $70 - $75/hr. (Competitive, based on experience)
Introduction
Regular and predictable attendance is required. The company is seeking Equipment and Tool Engineers to support multiple positions across teams in Puget Sound, Washington. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out on the production floor, interacting with mechanics, safety, and tool makers, and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
2 or more years of experience working in a production environment
3 years of hands-on experience as a Pressure Vessel Design Engineer
Strong knowledge and application of pressure vessel codes such as ASME Section VIII and its related ASME/ANSI Codes
Strong understanding of pressure vessel fabrication processes and maintenance procedures
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Investigates and develops equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements
Performs tool liaison activities to support tool fabrication and production use
Participates in design reviews, collects design requirements, creates and revises drawings and models to support the build plan
Creates specifications and purchase requests for the acquisition of new equipment and tooling from external vendors
