Equipment Technician

Applicants for consideration must be currently enrolled in a local Respiratory Therapy Program.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning/disinfecting equipment and setting up ready for next use
• Maintaining an appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and placing timely orders when necessary
• Unpacking boxes of respiratory supplies and equipment
• Maintaining appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and equipment in patient care areas throughout the hospital
• Upon request, transporting respiratory supplies and equipment to patient care areas
• Assisting with exchange of medical gas cylinders
• Recognizing when equipment is broken and/or not working properly and reporting to the appropriate Respiratory Department member
