Applicants for consideration must be currently enrolled in a local Respiratory Therapy Program.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning/disinfecting equipment and setting up ready for next use
- Maintaining an appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and placing timely orders when necessary
- Unpacking boxes of respiratory supplies and equipment
- Maintaining appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and equipment in patient care areas throughout the hospital
- Upon request, transporting respiratory supplies and equipment to patient care areas
- Assisting with exchange of medical gas cylinders
- Recognizing when equipment is broken and/or not working properly and reporting to the appropriate Respiratory Department member
