The standard hours are 7:00am until 3:30pm./ppLocation: University Hospital/ppPosition Requirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED required./liliRequires a working knowledge of electricity and is able to diagnose and repair electrical problems./liliRequires ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams./liliRequires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations./liliRequires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience./liliRequires familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, inspections and preventive maintenance./liliRequires familiarity with basic hand and machine tools, soldering, designated preventive maintenance and other test equipment./li/ulpPosition Summary:/ppInspects, repairs, troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance on equipment, which may also include plumbing, pipefitting and work on other fluid related systems. Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Identifies and properly reports through the work order system all potential and existing problems encountered. May track and distribute equipment throughout the hospitals.
