Pay for the position:
$26.59/hr
Shifts for the position:
1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm
2nd shift 3pm-11pm
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment following all safety, predictive, and preventive maintenance procedures. They will also have working knowledge of the operating procedures and processes they are working on and be able to assist operators on a technical level to ensure quality standards are met.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain production / development machines on the floor.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance or repairs for equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting activities including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals to understand equipment and assist in troubleshooting.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments / alignments to machines.
• Assist in initial machine setup before releasing to operators for production.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Detect operational errors / defects and report those and any unusual situations with proper supervision.
• Comply with all KAVX safety regulations and LOTO procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years relevant manufacturing experience in a similar equipment support position, or 2 Year degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
