Equipment Service Supervisor
 
Hillyard, Inc. is currently seeking an Equipment Service Supervisor to join our Service team in East Hartford, CT.
 
Are you a hands-on leader with a mechanical background who enjoys developing technicians, solving problems, and driving operational success?
 
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills and takes pride in helping teams perform at their best. As the Equipment Service Supervisor, you'll lead a team of service technicians, support daily operations, and help ensure exceptional customer service and equipment performance.
 
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of service technicians.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and service quality.
  • Monitor technician productivity, service performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct daily service operations and ensure service work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and overall service performance.
  • Manage inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal partners.
  • Utilize reporting and data analysis tools to support decision-making and operational improvements.
What We're Looking For
  • 2–4 years of leadership experience in equipment service, maintenance, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
