This is a hybrid role supporting both excavation and plumbing operations as needed and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and staying active in the field.

About the Role
This position works under the direction of our Excavation Supervisor, supporting a variety of residential and commercial excavation and plumbing projects including:
New construction slabs
Outside utility installation
Grease trap installation
Service installation digging and support
This is not a full-time equipment operating role. When excavation work is lighter, this individual will assist plumbing crews with pipe installation, trench work, and general job site support.
Key Responsibilities
Operate excavation equipment for plumbing and utility-related construction jobs
Dig trenches for utilities and service installations
Assist plumbing crews with pipe installation and job site preparation
Maintain equipment and follow all safety procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Support excavation and plumbing teams as needed
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Assist with additional field duties as assigned
Requirements
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid drivers license required
CDL required
Previous excavation, underground utility, or heavy equipment operating experience preferred
Skills & Attributes
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Willingness to assist in multiple aspects of plumbing and excavation work
Comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding environments
