Job Description: ATTENTION ALASKA RESIDENTS ONLY! The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and Fairbanks International Airports Airfield Maintenance section is looking for Equipment Operators 1/2 Flex to help Keep Alaska Moving!

What you will be doing: In this role, you will provide vital support by operating heavy equipment to keep airport runways, taxiways, and roads clear and safe, especially during winter conditions. As an important part of our Airfield Maintenance team you'll perform pavement and facility maintenance, support construction projects, and respond to emergencies to ensure Fairbanks International Airport remains fully operational and compliant with FAA standards.

• This position is flexibly staffed. This vacancy may be filled at either the Equipment Operator 1 or 2 level, depending on the applicants training and/or experience. The full range of salaries is listed above. Starting salary will be determined by the level the position is hired at. If filled at Level 1, promotion to the Level 2 will occur upon successful completion of the probationary period and required training, as well as the applicant meeting the minimum qualifications of the higher job class.
