Responsible for processing hazardous bulk waste using specialized wiped film evaporators. This individual will manage material separation, adjust thermal/vacuum parameters to recover raw material, and strictly maintain safety and regulatory compliance. This candidate will also operate and monitor thin film distillation units, boilers, condensers, vacuum pumps and feed systems. Load/unload bulk tankers and drums. Monitor digital readout, control panels, and gauges. Make real-time adjustment to temperatures, flow rates, vacuum pressure, and wiper speeds to optimize separation.

The environment will involve exposure to chemicals, odors, and loud machinery.

Education: High School diploma or GED required. Technical training or an associates degree in process technology or chemistry is highly preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience operating industrial processing equipment, pot stills, or distillation columns, preferably within a chemical manufacturing or waste management environment.

Physical Demands: Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, lift to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.

Safety and Regulator Knowledge: Deep understanding of process safety management and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
