Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support daily production and material handling needs + Perform pre and post operational inspections and basic equipment care to ensure safe operation + Load, unload, move, and stock raw materials and finished products as directed + Communicate clearly with teammates to coordinate workflow and maintain site safety + Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures to support a productive worksite **What Are We Looking For** + Demonstrated capability to safely operate industrial or mobile equipment in a production environment + Strong attention to safety protocols and situational awareness + Ability to follow instructions, read signage, and communicate effectively with others + Reliable work habits with the ability to adapt to changing priorities + Physical capability to perform duties associated with operating equipment in an industrial setting **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing + Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
