Position Summary: The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating equipment usage, maintenance scheduling, inventory tracking, and overall equipment logistics to support daily field operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in equipment coordination, fleet support, maintenance tracking, inventory control, or construction equipment logistics within industrial, solar, energy, or heavy construction environments. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily equipment allocation and utilization across the project site Track equipment inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, and repair status Maintain accurate records for equipment inventory, usage logs, maintenance reports, and service documentation Communicate with field supervision, vendors, mechanics, and project management regarding equipment needs and availability Assist with monitoring fuel usage, equipment condition, and downtime reporting Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and movement of equipment on-site Ensure equipment documentation and certifications remain current and compliant Support inventory control for tools, parts, and equipment-related supplies Maintain organized equipment storage and laydown areas Follow all company safety procedures and site policies Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics or construction management preferred. 2+ years of previous experience in equipment coordination, fleet management, inventory control, maintenance support, or construction logistics required Solar, industrial, renewable energy, or heavy construction experience preferred Familiarity with construction equipment and maintenance processes Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
