The Humane Society of Missouri's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO, is looking for a Weekend Equine Care Specialist to help care for rescued horses and farm animals on Saturdays and Sundays. If you have a passion for animal welfare and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to have you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Feeding and providing water to animals
- Turning out horses into pastures
- Cleaning stalls and living areas
- Welcoming visitors and volunteers with a positive, friendly attitude
- Safely operating tractors and other equipment as needed
- Ensuring proper care for all animals, following feeding, sanitation, and medical procedures
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous experience handling horses
- Must have a valid driver's license.
