Job Title: Epic Willow Analyst (Inpatient / Ambulatory)

Position Overview
A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic Willow Analyst to support pharmacy systems and workflows within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the design, build, optimization, and support of medication management processes, including order entry and dispensing systems. The analyst will work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, and maintain Epic Willow (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory) modules
- Support pharmacy workflows, including medication ordering, verification, and dispensing
- Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
- Troubleshoot system issues related to medication workflows and pharmacy operations
- Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Assist with system upgrades, optimizations, and go-live support
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and medication safety standards
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users
Required Qualifications
- Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Ambulatory Certification (required)
- 3+ years of experience supporting pharmacy systems, preferably within Epic Willow
- Strong understanding of medication management workflows and pharmacy operations
- Experience with system build, configuration, and testing
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex system and workflow issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in pharmacy systems or prior experience working with pharmacists
- Experience in hospital or healthcare system environments
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to medication management
- Experience supporting Epic upgrades and optimization initiatives
